Apple to close all retail stores and all outside China until March 27th

In a letter posted on the company's website on Friday night, CEO Tim Cook announced, Apple is temporarily shutting down its larger stores "outside of Greater China."  Cook writes, reducing the risk of virus infection.  So, "the most effective way to reduce the risk of virus transmission is to reduce the concentration and maintain the maximum distance to social distance. We are committed to providing exceptional service to our customers." But we have to make this decision because the virus attacks reduce the risk nationwide.  The closure is from a major retailer in the United States to a small retailer  But if it doesn't expand too much in the US, Apple can't survive without China, and every Apple location in the world will be effectively shut down immediately - except for China.

"The global spread of coronavirus, COVID-19, is affecting each of us," Cook wrote.  "At Apple, we can change the world of technology first and it can be a valuable tool in the moment. This is what everyone believes. So we work with that belief."  For something new.

According to Cook, they will donate as long as Apple's "promised donations" are closed.  According to Cooke, the grant reaches $ 15 million, and the company will donate to our employees locally, and internationally to support the COVID-19 response effort. ”Like other large companies worldwide, Apple will allow employees to work but encourage them to work from home.

Apple will recently reopen Chinese stores.  The coronavirus and COVID-19 effect cease as soon as it is initially spread.  "Although the rate of infection has dropped dramatically, we know the effects of COVID-19 are still being felt.  "Cook said in his note.
